NFL Divisional Playoff Betting Lines and Parlay Wagering Tips

Kick it up a notch or two Denver betting fans as your Broncos are getting set to roll the Ravens. After predicting a perfect Wild Card Weekend, today we dive into the National Football League Divisional Championship action. For our money, this is the best weekend of the season as the top eight teams in the NFL are battling for the right to play in the Conference Championship games. Lets take a look at the betting board as we craft a winning parlay ticket!

NFL Divisional Playoff Betting Lines and Parlay Wagering Tips

Broncos vs Ravens: Manning on Rocky Mountain high

Count us in the group that was skeptical (fearful) that QB Peyton Manning could ride into Denver and escape the season with his health still intact. Four months later, the Broncos (13-3) own the best record in the AFC and they will host Baltimore to open Divisional Championship Weekend. The Ravens survived two Ray Rice fumbles, and allowing 419 yards of total offense, as they defeated the Indianapolis Colts 24-9 at home during Wild Card Weekend action.

Falcons vs Seahawks: Seattle is on a huge roll heading into Atlanta

Winners of six straight games, including a 24-14 win over Washington last weekend, the Seattle Seahawks are the hottest club in the league. The Seahawks have racked up 217 points while allowing just 74 during their recent run. Atlanta (13-3) owns the best record in the NFC and they enjoyed a bye week last weekend. While QB Matt Ryan and the Falcons usually own teams that visit the Georgia Dome, they are in tough this weekend against the Seattle defense.

Patriots vs Texans: The Brady Bunch is rested and ready for an AFC Championship run

New England is another team that’s rolling into the playoffs on a high note as they have won nine of their last ten games. The lone stumble was a 41-34 Week 15 home loss to the San Francisco 49ers – a game they almost won after being down 31-10 entering the fourth quarter. Houston put away the Bengals with a 19-13 home win last weekend and now return to the scene of their 42-14 Week 14 loss to the Patriots. We like backing QB Tom Brady at home.

NFL Divisional Playoff  Wagering Lines and Advantage Sports Betting Parlay Prediction

There are some monster lines posted at the sports wagering website for the Divisional playoff action this weekend. Dating back to the 2006 NFL playoffs, the dogs own a 12-7 record on spreads of eight points or more during postseason play. During the Divisional playoff round it gets worse for the chalk as the pups move to 8-2 ATS. We are never big on giving up double digit spreads on our parlay tickets – especially during crucial playoff contests.

As such, we are going to back the money lines on the two AFC games and we’ll take the point spread on the Seattle contest. Give us the Broncos (-500 ML), the Patriots (-500 ML) and the Seahawks +3 (-120) to cash a winning parlay ticket at the Bodog online sportsbook. After the Denver and Seattle picks cash – we will consider a double dip on the New England game!
