Canadian Football League Grey Cup Prices and 2013 Predictions

After double checking that we didn’t miss the North American summer, we’re excited to see that pigskins are about to fly in the Great White North. The chase to capture Grey Cup 101 is upon us. Week One of the Canadian Football League opens with Winnipeg battling Montreal as the Blue Bombers host the Alouettes in their brand new stadium. Kick-off for the inaugural CFL season at Investors Group Field in Manitoba, Canada, is scheduled for Thursday, June 27, 2013, at 9:00 PM ET. The current SportsInteraction Grey Cup Futures prices will not last long!

CFL West Division is loaded with Grey Cup Chalk

As shown in the image below, the West Division of the Canadian Football League boasts three of the top four Grey Cup favorites at the sportsinteraction.com online wagering website. After falling to a slight second chalk status in 2012, the British Columbia Lions lead the way heading in the 2013 CFL campaign. 2012 Grey Cup runner ups, the Calgary Stampeders, are a close second, while a much improved Saskatchewan Roughriders squad sits in the fourth spot. The bookmakers at SIA see a long season ahead in northern Alberta for the Edmonton Eskimos.

Canadian Football League East Division is loaded with Grey Cup Pups

The Montreal Alouettes are the lone East Division club to crack top four Grey Cup chalk status. Given that QB Anthony Calvillo turns 41 in August, we are surprised to see Montreal ahead of the 2012 Grey Cup Champion Toronto Argonauts – not only on the Grey Cup prices but also on the tie odds to win the East Division that are set at +160 with the SIA money line. Top favorites to win the Grey Cup at this point last year, the Hamilton Tiger-cats are down in the six hole, while the 2011 Grey Cup East finalists – Winnipeg Blue Bombers – are the pups of the CFL.

Grey Cup Championshionship Betting Oddss & Advantage Sports Predictions

Being as their are only eight teams in the CFL, we like the fact that we should be able to play with the Grey Cup Championship lines a little. We are going to invest a couple units each on the Roughriders, Argonauts, and Lions to capture the 2013 Grey Cup title. If one or two of those clubs make it to Grey Cup 101 on November 24, 2013, we’ll be able to guarantee a pay day when the new Grey Cup odds hit the SportsInteraction betting board prior to the big game.
